What does a student expect on their first day of Beer Culture class? Five sample glasses to for assessing beer, of course!
I was unsure of what to expect taking this class. What exactly about beer will we learn? What does beer culture encompass? Will we be drinking beer in the class? (This questions was quickly answered)
During the first class, we learned about how beer was made, the history of beer, who brewed beer first (women because women rock), how to assess beer, the four main ingredients of beer, etc. To say the last, there is a lot to learn about beer.
These are the beers that we assessed the first day of class and some of my thoughts about them.
