Dry County Brewing Company is where I discovered my love for IPA's. Really, just any beer that has a lot of hops. Before I immersed myself into the Beer Culture, I would mainly drink beers like Blue Moon, Leinenkugal or yuengling. This of course, was before I had been exposed to several other styles of beer. IPA's were a distaste to my palate. However, after a few weeks of trying new beers I was starting to begin to enjoy beer that had more hops in it.

After our midterm for Beer Culture, our professor treated the class to a few beers at Dry County Brewing Co. I went to choose my first beer and as I was carefully reviewing the menu, I couldn't help but be drawn to one of the hoppiest beers on the menu. So I ordered it, and when I took my first sip my taste buds had been opened to all good things hoppy beer had to offer. I developed an instant passion for IPA's.
