It’s Monday night and l just got home from class, so what better way to enjoy my Monday night beer then with this Voodoo Ranger in my Monday Night glass.

The color of the beer is gold with a medium thick head that has a long retention, it lasted until I had almost finished the beer. The aroma is a slight sweetness and hops, lots of malt, and caramel notes. I expected the taste to have more hops than it did, however the taste of hops is noticeably present along with a sweet caramel, some sort of fruit, and a toasted malt. The finish was more sweeter than the initial taste. The beer leaves a bitter aftertaste, I am assuming from the hops. The body was light-medium and it had light crisp feel to it with medium carbonation. The presence of alcohol is evident in the taste as well for the ABV is 9%.
Overall this was an enjoyable beer. I would say this beer is complex, and it is definitely a bold beer which is to be expected because of the term Imperial. The ABV is a little high for my preference, but the different flavor notes in the beer made it an interesting beer assessment.
